Do you ever get tired of doing the same old things as a family, eating at the same old restaurants, going to the same old movie theaters and playing the same old games?

Well, get ready to be bored no more! Of course we think Rebounderz Trampoline Arena is the best place to go out and play with your kids, but there are a ton of other things to do as a family in Southern Florida.

You could make a day of it! Start off here, then pick two or three other things from the list. You and your kids will have a great time. They’ll probably be asleep in the car before you even get home. You’ll be pretty tuckered out too. But you sure will have had a great time getting that way.

Okay, here we go!

#1 Rebounderz

We’re not just bragging here. We really believe it. Where else can you find a trampoline arena, Ninja Warrior Course, Arcade, Basketball Slam, and the brand new Air Pit? Nowhere, that’s where. So start your extravaganza of fun right here!

#2 The Young At Art Museum

Head out to the Young At Art Museum for your next stop. You’ll need an activity that’s a little lower-key after all of the jumping, throwing and slamming. You’ll find interactive exhibits and activities all designed to engage your child’s imagination. Your imagination is sure to get a little jolt too. Don’t miss The Cave and its multimedia art, history and musical experience. Your child can curate their own exhibit using the interactive tools. It is great fun!

#3 Flamingo Gardens

You and your children will have a great time exploring this wildlife sanctuary and botanical garden. There are more than 250 birds, representing 45 species, and some of the largest trees in the world. They’ve got alligators, otters, peacocks, and panthers. What’s not to love?

#4  Museum of Discovery and Science

You can’t go wrong here. There’s something for everyone with the new EcoDiscovery Center, the IMAX 3D theater, and interactive exhibits.

It’ll be tough but we think you can get it all in on a Saturday. If not, take a long weekend and make it a two-day blow-out of fun!

We’ve got a little added bonus for you too. Here are two favorite spots for fun family dining in and around Sunrise. You probably can’t squeeze both of these in on the same day, but put them on your list of things to do with the kids on those long, hot summer days. Don’t worry, they’re both air conditioned.

#1 The Rainforest Cafe

Where else can you eat a volcano and dine with rainforest creatures? The Rainforest Cafe is designed for kids. They’ll love it. And you’ll never get tired of watching them have fun!

#2 Jaxon’s Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant

This one is a bit of a drive, but it’s well worth it. This is the kind of ice cream parlour you remember from your childhood. There’s something for everyone, with 50 flavors of ice cream, food choices ranging from 10 different types of hotdogs to deli sandwiches, salads and tons of appetizers.
