When preparing for a fun day at an indoor trampoline park, you want to make sure you are prepared. By wearing the right attire you can make sure you optimize the amount of fun you can have. Nothing is worse than showing up for a fun day and being sorely underdressed. The following is a guide for all who are planning to visit a trampoline park and need to know what is best to wear.
Tight T- Shirts
Tight t-shirts are a necessity when visiting a trampoline park. You never want to wear anything strapless because the motion of bouncing could force your top downward. The last thing you want all day is to tug on your clothing, especially when you are supposed to be having fun. By wearing a form-fitting t-shirt, you can ensure that you can flip, fall, and bounce as high as you want, without worrying about your top.
No Skirts
Skirts or dresses are a big ‘no-no’ when it comes to a day of bouncing on a trampoline. Make sure when you are visiting the park that you wear something that can cover more skin. Nothing is worse than having to sit out from the fun because of poor clothing choices.
No Shorts
Though the dress or skirt problem could be solved with shorts, shorts are not acceptable either. Despite what you might think, shorts are not appropriate for a day at the trampoline park because they bare too much skin. Though shorts allow for more mobility, tiny shorts show too much skin. By showing more skin, this will make you more susceptible to trampoline or plastic burns while playing.
Ditch the Socks
It may sound a little gross, but when it comes to trampolining, ditch your socks. Socks will keep you from getting proper traction on the trampolines or the plastic from our other attractions. We clean our park everyday, so you don’t have to worry about the cleanliness of our trampolines. We promise, you will have a much better time without your socks.
Yoga Pants are Finally Acceptable
Ladies, yoga pants are finally acceptable attire! Though yoga pants have quickly become popular in our culture, most often they are not acceptable to wear on a date, to work, or for an interview. However, for bouncing on a trampoline, they are the perfect attire. Because they are made with elastic, yoga pants perfectly stretch for your free mobility. Also, because they are tight around your waist, you will never have to worry about them slipping or falling off.
Wear Slip Ons
When you go to an indoor trampoline park, it is better to not wear tennis shoes and socks mainly because you will most likely have to find a place to awkwardly take them off and on again. At Rebounderz, we don’t allow anyone to wear shoes on our equipment. So, in order to save you time, you might want to wear slip-on shoes that are easily put on and off. Also, slip-on shoes take a lot less room so you can easily store them in our cubby or locker systems.
Don’t Bring a Big Purse
When you go to a trampoline park, the less you bring the better. When you tote a huge purse, you limit your mobility as well as the storage space in your provided locker or cubby. Plus, having a big purse only draws attention to thieves, as they may wonder about all the the contents of your bag. By bringing as few items as possible inside a Rebounderz, you will be able to fully utilize your storage space and your day of fun.
Take Off Your Jewelry
When getting ready to embark on your day of bounce, it is always wise to take off all your jewelry. Necklaces can get accidently tied up in our equipment, which makes them safety hazards. At Rebounderz, we want you to have a special day full of fun and safety. Because necklaces pose a hazard, that is why we ask that you don’t bring them, or at least put them away before entering the park.
Also, any bracelets, earrings, and rings should be taken off as well. Nothing will ruin your day like losing your favorite piece of jewelry. It is better to keep it safe and off, than on and eventually lost.
Tie Up Your Hair
Ladies, before getting on our trampolines, please tie up your hair. Though bouncing with your hair free is fun, it can also be dangerous. You never know when your hair can get stepped on or possibly tangled up into something. Keep on the safe side and tie your lovely locks up!
Pants
If you happen not to own yoga pants, cargo pants are also a good choice. As we have previously stated, shorts are a bad idea to wear to a trampoline park due to plastic and trampoline burn. However, certain pants are off-limits as well. For example, tight pants, such as jeans, are a definitely not a good plan. Jeans tend to tighten up with every wash and weaken at their seams. If you bounce with too much power and mobility, you run the risk of splitting your pants. Nothing could ruin your day more than the embarrassment of ripping your pants and cutting your fun short.
